Keep Telling Personal Stories is a deeply personal apparel design project woven with threads of hope and healing. This collection is a visual expression of the journey through mental health challenges and addiction recovery, aiming to spark conversations, break stigma, and celebrate the resilience that emerges from these struggles. This series started as a personal passion project that eventually made its way to having the designs sold by the worldwide tattoo inspired apparel company, InkAddict.
Project Objectives:
1. Visual Storytelling: Develop a series of apparel designs that tell a visual narrative of the mental health and addiction recovery journey, conveying emotions, milestones, and the strength found in vulnerability.
2. Empowering Symbols: Integrate empowering symbols and messages into the designs, fostering a sense of hope, self-love, and the courage to overcome obstacles on the path to recovery.
3. Stigma-Breaking Aesthetics: Infuse the collection with aesthetics that challenge traditional perceptions surrounding mental health and addiction, breaking down stigma through bold, innovative design choices.
